Dad's Results

Dad went in to get the results of the endoscopy and the tissue samples taken from the exterior of the polyp were negative. Thank God. He has another test to take in a week or so where they will check the tissue inside of the polyp. Keep him in your prayers.

Dad went in last week for a test (endoscopy) and they found a large polyp in his stomach. This Thursday he will find out the results. Keep him in your prayers.

L A Earthquake

We experienced a 5.4 earthquake here in the Los Angeles area today. A pretty good shaker. We are all fine. For the family....Paul and Margaret are fine. Mom was shook up a bit and Dad was out in the park next door to their apartment and didn't even feel it. Smile!

Trip To Tempe

Last month, Kathy, Ramona and Viola took a trip to Tempe, AZ. I've heard from Mom and Dad what a great time they had. I hope to get some pictures and a report of their trip. I know that the old house on Farmer is not there anymore and they have now built condos on the site. Progress....I am digging up an old picture I have of the Farmer house and will try to post it soon. I hope all the family had a great 4th of July and I look forward to hearing from you!

Catalina, Kim and Aunt Ruth

On my second run for cherries, (we sell them in LA) I stopped by Aunt Viola's house to drop some off (thank you for the incredible chili verde....sorry Naomi....I ate your portion) and then I went over to Aunt Ramona's to leave some cherries there too and Catalina from Honolulu was there. Kim came in a few minutes after I did. It was so good to see both of them. I hadn't visited with them in years. Catalina, Ramona and Viola are in Arizona seeing all the old places this weekend. Hope you all have a great time. Aunt Ruth was there too! What a treat! I shot a few pictures before I made my mad dash back to LA. Kim don't forget to visit us whenever come down here to LA!

Guess Who?

I thought I would post some "older" pictures of the "familia" to see if you can figure out who they all are. There are some from Knott's Berry Farm and another at Grandpa's house. I think these are great memories! Hope you enjoy!

Dad & Sisters

On Tuesday, May 12th, Paul and Margaret Saiz came to Stockton to visit the "Girls." Ramona, Stella, Ruth and Viola all met at Ramona's house to catch up on all that has been going on in the family. Debbie and I were the chauffeurs' so we enjoyed being with all of them. Ramona then took us to a Chinese Buffet that was very, very good. Aunt Ruth and Aunt Viola REALLY enjoyed the dessert as you can tell by the pictures! (ha!) We all went on to see Aunt Viola's house. Beautiful! In addition to the beautiful house, her back yard could be in a magazine. We went back to Ramona's and spent the night and then left for Merced to take Mom and Dad to see Margaret (aka Maretts) and the grand and greatgrand babies. We had a great time!

This is a picture of (left to right) Tio George Herrera, Tia Lotte, Grandma and Abuelito, Grandma's and Tia Lotte's Father. This is one of the very few pictures I have seen of Abuelito.

The Steve Saiz Family

Ok! I will be the first to post a current family picture! This is us....Steve, Debbie, Vanessa and Steve Jr. Vanessa just turned 26 and Stevo is 21. Vanessa lives in Corona, CA and Stevo is still here at home. We live in Carson, CA and I am the pastor of Bayside Apostolic Center in Torrance, CA. Debbie and I are involved full time in the ministry of the church. Vanessa works for Mckinsey Company and Steve is employed with Western Credit Union. They are also involved in church work. Grandpa and Grandma Saiz

This is a picture of Grandpa (Elojio) and Grandma (Benera) Saiz. Not sure of the date when it was taken, but it is one of the earliest pictures I have ever seen of them.

First Post

This blog will be about the different Saiz siblings and their families. Ramona Roncale, Paul Saiz, Stella Montez, Ruth Hernandez and Viola (Aguirre) Saiz. We will post different pictures of the different families and events as they become available. We encourage all family members to participate and feel free to contribute any family event you wish. My goal is to keep all the "familia" in touch with what is going on with all of us.

I recently got to spend a few days in Stockton with my aunts, Ramona, Stella, Ruth and Viola and had a great time. We went to Dave Wong's for lunch and then went back to Ramona's and reminisced about old times and I tried to catch up on all that's going on with the family.
